assignment. As your
employer, Heber Associates hires you, pays you, and is responsible
for deducting
your state, federal and social security payroll taxes, and for paying
worker’s compensation insurance. Your assignment is monitored from start to finish – making
sure both you and the client are content.

What
are My Responsibilities |

The
responsibilities you carry as a temporary employee are very
straightforward.
As with any job, you are expected to perform to the best of
your ability.
You are free to accept or refuse assignments, however, once you
accept an assignment you are expected to complete it.
Even though you are an employee of
Heber Associates,
you must conform to the client company’s work policies and rules
while assigned there.
You are responsible for reporting the number of hours you
have
worked to Heber Associates.
Make sure you give yourself the best advantage by communicating
your job preferences and time or travel constraints up front.
Also, share job assignment feedback with Heber Associates.
If you are unable to work a scheduled shift, you must contact
Heber Associates and the client as soon as possible.
That is
all there is to it. Employment

Temp-to-Hire Services
Temp-to-hire services combine elements of both temporary help and
full-time placement. Under
these arrangements, the customer asks Heber to recruit individuals who
may be interested in full-time work and assigns them to the customer
for a trial period during which both the customer and the individual
can evaluate the relationship. During
this trial period, Heber employs the individual in the same manner as
in any other temporary assignment and pays all wages, benefits, and
statutory insurance coverage.
After a designated period of time, if
the customer and the temporary employee agree to enter into a
full-time employment relationship, the individual’s relationship
with the staffing firm is terminated.
The employee is not charged a placement fee under the temporary
to full-time arrangement. The
employer may or may not be charged a fee under a traditional employment
agency placement arrangement.
